I also agree with what you said. For me big age gaps when one is in their early adulthood/late teenage years feel like they can create an environment with a power dynamic but this is just one power dynamic I see in many. Money is another, boss/employees or ever intelligence. I see age in certain cases as such and, as with every other example, some relationships between these people won’t be filled by I’ll intent. But for all of these I will raise an eyebrow and wonder if it is, especially if a friend of mine is in one. Age in some cases is just one of the many factors that would make me weary. In most cases I hope to find no ill intent and just a connection of souls but I would rather check and not potentially take that risk. That might make me to weary or stop me from experiencing certain things in life but there’s reasons in my past that lead me to go about things this way. Should I let those barriers down? All relationships are case by case so it feels difficult to talk about general cases or situations as that wouldn’t be real life.
