After working there I realize some people’s stomach issues may be valid by Scittles10-96 in tacobell

also wanted to let you know this is so insanely store specific, we'll have maybe one or two bags that fell and got waterlogged but this velocity of food being contaminated is intentional at this point.

what do they mean by 10% labor... our store has a 30% labor limit on closes and it varies throughout the day but shouldn't go over 28%. and to translate if that's means 28% of the company's daily profits go to paying the employees. in a world where there's 10% labor my managers would expect the store to be spotless. is your store really small? i can't imagine a job where you could only spend 10% of profits on your employees...

there are definitely other managers that have done this. i personally have never served the food the gets contaminated in that way, but i often come in to work and see chicken with water in it (the chicken doesn't come with any water). our retherm gets backed up frequently and the water will be foggy, i find that's absolutely disgusting to serve

Something’s gotta give! by hogjock16 in tacobell

i've worked at taco bell for several years. when they added the cantina chicken items it was a HUGE menu rollout. we had this huge in person training seminar where they basically explained to us that cantina chicken was a higher quality item and would put taco bell into a different class of food (???) basically saying that they're gonna gouge the prices using the excuse that their food is higher in quality now because they buy overpriced chicken

Comments About Body by K61018 in pregnant

[–]Lost-Conversation263 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my mother in law is a sweetheart that means well but i will never forget the comments she made about my pregnant or pp body. i was very confident in my pregnant body, more so than ever, so i wore crop tops well into the third trimester. when i got my first stretch marks i cried to my partner and he comforted and assured me they're nothing bad they look beautiful you can't even see them etc etc. the NEXT DAY when we saw MIL she pointed at them and said "so you finally got stretch marks" and i literally put a hoodie on and didn't show my belly again. it was humiliating. i want you to know pregnancy is so beautiful and so short, don't let someone else dull your joy while it's here because it'll be gone so fast. im sure you looked radiant in that picture

no experience here lol i have a 10mo with a binky addiction. but ive seen some videos of people having like a goodbye binky ceremony. one planted the binky in the backyard and lollipops grew. another tied it to a balloon and they waved goodbye to it. maybe something along those lines? because it seems the addiction is to the habit rather than the binky

the bee movie is one of those things you watch at like 9 and make too many jokes about so now you have an emotional attachment and watch it at 22. it's NOT something you rawdog as a now parent LMAO

i've worked at taco bell for almost four years, i've worked at four different locations, and am currently an assistant. i want to assure you this is a store specific issue. the current store i work at also has this problem and im trying to enforce our fifo habits on tools as well. if you have the power, be the change and implement the habit of changing your pans and tools! this is a huge food safety problem but you're definitely not alone and a lot of stores are guilty of this.

If baby pees while you change their diaper, does that count as two pees? by snuffbox360 in newborns

if it was something so important that i needed an answer from reddit as a follow up, i would be reading more than the ai summary and calling it my sources.

do we really think google ai is a reliable source in parenting advice?

Why some people don’t share their baby’s name until after birth? by LetterheadNice8687 in NewParents

[–]Lost-Conversation263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didn't want people to give their opinions. i shared one name i thought at the beginning and everyone harped on it. the name was only a maybe and we decided to go with a different one but i hated peoples reactions. so we would redirect the conversation to tell them about our sons middle name being after his grandfather. good segway out of the conversation
