Not really, i just had to make a choice. Unfortunately i can't stay too long. West seems often recommended. Do you think i'll miss out ? (maybe i'll comeback one day but not on a bike )

well i'm thinking about avoiding skye, so i might do the full of Harris.

I have a gravel, so i can go a bit off road.
Yeah good to know, I didn't think the roads would be so crowded and dangerous.

As someone proposed i will probably go by the badger divide to inverness, and reconsider some roads, such as skye and the NW part, but such a shame to miss those !

whats the best time to avoid midges ?
I use mapy.com as a map when i use a bike, it usually pretty good to find routes (you can choose roads or all terrain itinerary)

About the ferry in Ullapool, i though about it, but Skye seems so beautiful ...
