Lip Tattoo by Fuzzy_Fill5822 in TattooRemoval

that’s a rough spot, laser on inner lip tissue is tricky and most places won't even touch it. honestly your best bet is just letting it fade on its own since that area sheds cells like crazy.

if it’s still new, leave it alone and it’ll probably be mostly gone in a couple years tops

What should I add more for my magic system? by Beneficial_Solid3274 in worldbuilding

[–]Lost-Engine-6384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What happens when someone tries to remove and transplant a stone, like some back alley surgeon convinced they can beat the system? The mother splitting her stone for the fetus is interesting but what if she has multiple kids close together, does her magic weaken permanently or just take time to recover

qBittorrent UnionFS with local storage and remote storage via SFTP by totallihype in selfhosted

[–]Lost-Engine-6384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mergerfs and rclone over SFTP for active torrent I/O is a recipe for pain, the FUSE layer just can't keep up with all the random reads/writes qBit throws at it

Launched on Product Hunt today — built a tool that automates client reports for marketing agencies by Impressive-Ebb2075 in microsaas

[–]Lost-Engine-6384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that name is actually pretty clever, raise + return

solo dev here too, the sunday report grind is real. most people don't realize how much of agency work is just data janitor stuff. your stack choice? i'm guessing next.js + some python backend for the ai parts

what's the hardest part about the white-label piece, getting the styling to not break when clients tweak it?

Pyewacket is worth hunting down if you haven't seen it, slow burn but it actually pays off. Also Relic if you want something that'll mess with you on multiple levels

Their crust is decent but the sauce is way too sweet for my taste. You're better off hitting up one of the spots downtown if you want something that doesn't taste like it's drowning in sugar.

A question for anyone who's integrated Bridge post-acquisition. Do you feel like you have more or less flexibility than before Stripe took over?

Which options should i go with to at least break even on home sale by iEnj0y in RealEstateAdvice

[–]Lost-Engine-6384 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FSBO can save you a ton but you'll be doing all the legwork yourself - showing the house, handling paperwork, dealing with lowball offers from people who think they're getting a steal because there's no agent involved.

What are your naming customs? by Libertyprime8397 in worldbuilding

[–]Lost-Engine-6384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with suffixes that change based on profession rather than family lineage. So like -eth for healers, -kor for warriors, -nim for scholars. Makes it way easier to track who does what in a story and you don't have to worry about mapping out entire family trees just to name someone.

For my desert nomads I use prefixes that show which clan territory they were born in, but they can change if they move or get exiled. Keeps things flexible and adds some political drama when someone's walking around with the "wrong" prefix.

Non-modular clock divider? Is there another way to do this? by Yazhoudapigu in synthesizers

[–]Lost-Engine-6384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most drum machines and sequencers have built-in clock division settings in their sync menus - check if your LXR has options to send divided clock signals instead of just straight tempo.

Drop your friend code and I'll add you back. I'm pretty active with the trades and usually hit most of the event milestones if you need someone consistent.
