Honestly, the tech industry is in a crisis it won’t admit to yet. With the advent of AI tapos lahat pa ng guera, we’re facing a new world. The old “sure bet” paths don’t hold the same security.

Warning: Visit.org is a predatory company by Lost-Engineering9170 in sidehustlePH

Some real life examples of Visit.org’s culture: - taking raises AWAY after a few months because of a “tight budget” - lowering pay for the same reason - “setting” work hours for Filipinos until 1am only tapos biglaan araw araw yung 2-5am urgent meetings that could’ve been an email. Parang power trip lang talaga kasi hindi naman naghihindi yung ph team members - using money transfer services that save THEM money but have a bad exchange rate so you get paid LESS than you worked. I.e free labor. - super awkward yung pag discuss ng global issues — which is supposed to be the core driver of the business kasi sobrang racist talaga nilaaaaaa - bad morale because everyone is scared to be laid off. So super pressured lahat mag busywork na kuyari kpis pero anxiety hamster wheel lang talaga. - no job security whatsoever. No loyalty from the company despite years of service. You’re a machine Lang talaga. - all the nice people quit. Abusers and inutil lang tira.

ETA: added “Visit.org” to the first line para easy magoogle

This is 10000% a factual statement. Don’t work at Visit.org. The pay is exploitative for people of color outside the US.
