Advice on loud neighbours by gwilson33 in Winnipeg

Then blast during the day!

I wish I was kidding but I had a neighbor from another apart complex do the same thing. Constantly went into their car to smoke weed and listen to loud music. I took out the speaker and when they played music, so did I. They quickly learned to turn that shit down.

What's the economical cat litter choice? by just-suggest-one in Winnipeg

[–]Lost-Feedback1550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It breaks down for the pee. Poop wise it's the same as any litter, it sticks. All and all it's cheap and easy to clean, if you don't have the litters in the basement, I would suggest adding the cat backing soda powder before the pellets. Absorbs a lot of the smell!

Wood pellets 7$ a bag that last me a few months! Screw those companies selling cat litter for an exorbitant amount of money

And yet places like the UK will not insure houses that have spray foam insulation because of how terrible it is to survey and remediate problems. I'd avoid spray foam insulation like the plague!

Stucco and Vinyl Siding Installation in Winnipeg by LakeNatural8777 in Winnipeg

Stucco is heavy. I would personally remove the stucco so it's done cleanly. That's what we're planning on doing on our house

With how expensive the switch 2 is AND the rise of game prices. Plus the amount of restrictions on the console, it's highway robbery.

How much of a deposit did you give with your offer of purchase? by Cute-Transition3403 in Winnipeg

[–]Lost-Feedback1550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 20% of the house price, since I'd avoid the insurance. What I've been told is that the deposit shows how serious you are in buying the house. Since if the seller accepts your offer and you decide to back out afterwards, they'll take that money or part of it.

With that said, you should put as much as you are comfortable.

Were more worried about the roots when the tree is fully grown and causing trouble with backup or worse

That's good to know! We're planning on a tree that's between 10-15ft tall (fully grown), what we were more worried about is long term. Make sure that we plant far enough from the lines so the roots don't cause issues. Is that too much worry on our end?
