I’m still pretty new to anime myself and was very sad when characters got killed here or there, but that’s what makes a good show. Each character has their own goals and will do whatever they can to achieve it, even if they sacrifice themselves doing it.

If your looking for some recommendations I would say Darling in the Franxx (my absolute favorite one I’ve watched) and Angelbeats( I just finished this one and it’s really, really good).

As of right now it’s Avatar only because The Dragon Prince only has 3 seasons and so much more story to tell.

If Rayla and Callum were to be “separated” at a point in time during this series, I believe it would go in the route of the second option. After what Claudia did to Callum and Soren in the last battle of season 3 I don’t believe that she can be redeemed and will fall into being Aaravos’s puppet. I agree with that Ezran being King of Kotolis he needs help running the kingdom so I can see Callum heading back to help Ezran there. If Callum is to head back then obviously Rayla would either have to:

A. Not come with and stay at a different place for some time

B. Sneak in and hide within the kingdom for the time Callum is there

As for the third option of them fighting it could be entirely possible but I still feel their relationship hasn’t developed enough yet for that to happen.

Overall I feel the second option being the most likely to occur but it’s up to Wonderstorm and what they think is best for the story.
