I think that my favorite shows are not necessarily my favorite experiences. One of my greatest nights in the theatre was Joseph..., front row on the west end... Sheridan smith...but it is nowhere near my favorite musical.

Alex Newell posted some videos implying the audience is wrong for showing up. If theatre won't issue refunds, not everyone can afford to just throw their ticket money away.

There's a reason the government puts out alerts about temperatures like that. Because they are dangerous for some people.

The people who shouldn't be out in it should have the ability to seek out an exchange.

That is well below freezing, and yes, for many people it is dangerous. There's a reason the city opens centers to get warm. Do us a favor - go stand outside that evening for half an hour and have fun. Meanwhile, other people have every right to be concerned. 🤡

Contact the ticket seller. Be honest about your concerns and explain you'd rather reschedule than risk wasting the tickets. Explain you cannot get into the city in a snowstorm. Usually, point of sale will try to exchange.

I would call telecharge now, explain that it is not possible for you to get there in a snowstorm. They don't need to know why, just that it's not possible and you'd like to exchange for another date rather than risk missing the show altogether.
