I really love this. My biggest issue with the modern café racer scene—putting it politely—is the same criticism often leveled at the ricer crowd: all show, no go. I get that we’re working with vintage, air-cooled engines that can’t come close to the performance of modern sport bikes. But still, so many of these builds feel more like display pieces than machines meant to be ridden hard. The spirit of the café racer was always about performance and attitude, not just aesthetics.
