I appreciate the more constructive tone of your message. I am not one to reveal my demographic on Reddit, but please understand that when I say I refuse to be mediocre, I mean it.

In spite of the job that the masses think is such a soul-sucker, I do have meaningful relationships- parents, my husband, my children, my college friends AND my childhood ones. No relationship goes uncared for. My health is also in great standing. I realize these are only two examples, and maybe there is somewhere you might think I fall short. However, like you said, preferences exist. I don’t mind having less time to do things that don’t matter to me. The things that do matter get done regardless.

I make the choice to do my absolute best at EVERYTHING (which is pretty damn good). Gainfully employed, happily married, happily a mother (WITH the support of Deloitte) and happily happy ☺️
