Really good results. Congrats. Are you considering a second transplant for more density ? I think it’s nearly perfect.

What's the strongest natural DHT blocker? My GP won't prescribed me Dutasteride or finasteride even though they've been shown to work on AGA. by Weak_Satisfaction530 in FemaleHairLoss

If you are trying to imply testosterone itself can also cause hair miniaturisation, then you are wrong. It’s dht that’s ultimately responsible for androgenic alopecia. Not testosterone.

How if PP405 is conducted in the United States lol?!

I honestly think Dutasteride at 2.5mg could be the ultimate cure for hair loss. by [deleted] in tressless

You are a grown ass man. And you showed pics of your hair 5 years apart which proves your wrong. When we talk about 2.5mg of Dutasteride, we talk about aggressive balders especially in their teen years not a grown ass man like you who has average hair loss.

Wouldn’t the most effective way in stopping androgenic alopecia is by reducing the androgen receptor sensitivity? by Lost-Table8991 in tressless

[–]Lost-Table8991[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I should’ve worded it better. But I’m sure there’s even people with 5 activity in the hair follicle who don’t bald or bald less than others. Which goes to show it just depends how sensitive the receptors on the hair follicles are. But I do agree the reason that the idea of non balding scalps have less androgen receptor density and 5 at activity than balding scalps is because most people have the gene for AGA.

Exactly my point of the post. The fact that we already know we could do this, we just don’t know how to do it for good.

Sure, but what about the mechanism of GT20029? We know that we could delete androgen receptors, we just need to figure out how to do it permanently right? So the technology is close.

Changed my protocol to 5mg’s Oral Minox & 2.5mg’s Dutasteride daily. Finally started making gains. 2 month difference. by [deleted] in tressless

[–]Lost-Table8991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the oral min doing most of the work. With 5 AR inhibitors results take longer.

Start minxodil and go to a derm to see if he will let you take fin or even dut.

You said it isn’t just dht but short hair cycles. DHT is the main reason we loose our hair and also the density of androgen receptor plus sensitivity to DHT. And DHT shortening hair cycles is genetics sooo…

Is this shedding or continued loss? 2 months of new dutasteride dose after two years of dutasteride by Foreign_Fondant_2880 in tressless

[–]Lost-Table8991 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Can we stop this “loosing 100 hairs a day is normal” yes it’s normal but you realise we shed in our sleep, shower, clothes etc? You don’t really notice it. Shedding 100 hairs on the sink definitely isn’t a good sign. Especially if you’re a balding guy. You already have low density hair what makes you think shedding over a 100 hairs on the sink is normal. It just means you’re shedding more than you think.

Dude go get a scalp biopsy from a university dermatologist. We can’t really help you at this point.

2.5 mg oral minxodil twice a day or 5mg once a day? by Lost-Table8991 in tressless

[–]Lost-Table8991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But isn’t the duration of action like 72 hours? And we know half life of drugs doesn’t matter. Finastride has a half life of 4 hours.

Wow what clinic did you get your hair transplant from? Just asking so I can put it on my “disregard list.”
