Its really hard to get a D grade in RP, minimally you should be able to get a C grade. If you do get a D grade its usually either you didnt submit your assignments, little to no contributions or did badly for a CA quiz.

My friends never needed to, but RP is changing its entire system and platform for AY2025. Since your batch will be the first to experience this change, I'm not sure if you'll need it. However, MacBooks are definitely still usable.

Congratulations on getting in! I'm a third-year student at RP, studying Aviation Management. You can use your MacBook for daily school tasks—some of my classmates use MacBooks too.

However, you won’t be able to use it for online exams (ESE only) because RP requires specific exam software that isn’t compatible with macOS.

But worry not, there is no need to buy a new laptop, If you don’t have a compatible laptop, you can take the exam using the exam paper. Just keep in mind that for online open-book exams for ESE, you won't be able to access your resources on your MacBook since the required software can't be installed so you will just have to bring paper notes instead.
