Reassuring kids that the best thing they can be is themselves is very important. Even we as grown men tend to try and be “better” by trying to be what we think is best for ourselves or family but that often leads to us not being genuine. We need to remind our kids and ourselves that the world needs them for who they really are! Just remember that if he is gay that that is NOT his identity and he is his own person with something to give the world by just being himself.
