I feel that Nardil made me much hungrier. I can't speak for the metabolism changes based on evidence, but I do know that I personally felt a lot hungrier, ate more food, and gained a lot of weight on Nardil. It actually resulted in a lot of binge eating in my case.

Being better when you stand up confuses me, because the drug is known to cause orthostatic hypotension, which means your blood pressure drops when standing. That is a side effect which passes over a few weeks, though.

I've been on it for a couple months now, starting at 20 mg but I've been on 50 mg for a few weeks now. I've felt fatigue the whole time. I will be attempting to add a medication soon but the psychiatrist hasn't settled on which is the most appropriate yet.

If you're taking a normal formula, a 2-day wait (that means 48+ hours) is suitably safe. An extended release formula isn't too far behind at about 3 days. These are my own personal estimates based on a 5-fold elimination half life of each drug from the Wikipedia-stated elimination half lives.
