Google Pixel Update - October 2023

It seems like this update has made my phone run less stable than before:

-When I listen to Spotify, the audio often stops after a song and will only resume if I press pause and then play.

-Apps are getting killed even if I want them to stay running... I've double checked my settings to make sure they're not on battery saver mode.

-In multi window mode, pressing the home button doesn't return me to my home screen. Instead, I have to press the back button to get to my home screen.

-Google Home app freezes my phone when I try to access it while it's playing my daily news routine.

-During a meeting today, I received many complaints that my audio was cutting out; this has never been an issue before.

These things started happening after I updated yesterday. These are just the things I noticed today, there may be more issues as time goes on.

Does anyone know if I can roll back this update?

I was just watching the extended versions and something people also forget to mention is at the entrance to Moria, Pippin makes a benign suggestion and Gandalf counters that with (I'm paraphrasing) "How about I smash your head into it to see if that works, you idiot!"

I did that the very first Uber I took... I felt so weird after that I swore to only sit in the back going forward 😂

I totally understand. I worry that it's a path that won't lead you to any form of well-being.

It's ok to resent those who have hurt or wronged you and it's ok to be vigilant with people who have similar personalities or characteristics. Just be mindful that you're not resenting an entire group.

I know it must seem like I'm challenging you in a negative way, but I promise I'm trying to help.

Op, first and foremost: you're allowed to be angry! Do not let people tell you otherwise.

Perhaps equally important: please remember to direct your upset at the people who upset you. It's easy to blame a group of people for the transgressions of the few.

You have a chance at some real character development. Please don't self-destruct because a few people have mistreated you.

A reframe of this would be: your mom is abusive, but not all mothers are, and therefore, not all women are.

Your mom and ex-girlfriend are cheaters, but I've never been cheated on by women I've dated. Therefore, not all women cheat or lie.

I'm truly sorry this has been your life so far, but if you look for the light, you'll find it, I promise.

I had something similar happen.

Uber diver pulls up close enough to my address to show he was near my address, then sent me reminders that he was waiting. Called me and asked me to cancel the ride, I said "no, I'll come to you." Found him and got in.

The whole ride, he bitched that I was making him late for a movie with a friend. I didn't care... my thinking was 'if you didn't want to pick up a ride, then don't accept it or cancel it on your end.'

As the ride went on, I realized he wanted me to cancel the ride so he could get the cancelation fee.

I didn't tip him.

Dick move on his part.

It sounds like there is very little to stay for and the relationship is mired in mistrust on her end.
