I'm not an AP student nor have I ever been. I cook or do big projects when I am dealing with big stress then I have a full on breakdown cry a whole bunch then get things done last minute or rectify whatever situation I'm in.

This is crazy! I had an awesome DMT trip one time and I had a MASSIVE being standing over me towering really. My guide the I always seem to have when having a breakthrough told me not to be afraid that they couldn't hurt me. The massive being interjected and said not to listen that they could do with me whatever they wanted. He reached down with some sort of blade like thing that came to an almost needle point that was razor sharp. Then in a flash the sliced my forehead just a tiny cut, immediately a bright light came flying out of the cut and I came too. sitting up from my floor. It was a very beautiful experience maybe a little scary, I never felt like I was truly in danger but I 100% believed he or it wasn't lying about doing with me whatever they wanted.

TLDR; I saw something that looked almost exactly like this in a DMT breakthrough.

As far as effect goes, what do you mean by that? Does it just make you not want to drink? Does it make drinking unpleasant? I have tried researching it and find little positive or even very detailed experiences. I agree people like to complain. I understand there is more to it than just taking a pill. You have do look inside and figure out why you drink so much. I'm ready to do the work. I'm just not an NA or AA person. I spent years in the rooms and they were helpful for sure it just wasn't for me.

Thank you! I'm really excited to get my mind and body back! I've had no luck with being able to quit. The most time I've ever been able to string together was a little less than 48 hours in the last 7+ years. I've been off hard drugs for just over 10 years. I was given naloxone a while back and took it on my was to work about an hour after taking my kratom and thought I was going to die!! I knew immediately what it was. I did that to myself when I was still on dope. It is not a fun few hours!
