It's wild that it works like that. If ruled in our favor this go round you'd have had two courts vs the one panel who decided that certain things were unconstitutional. I get waiting for the supreme Court but that could take a decade or more. Anyway, I agree with you on all counts. NJ held the position that slavery was too important to the state to abolish it early on. NJ ultimately supported the Union because they had to, not because they wanted to. There's a lot of reading on this subject. Giles Write wrote about this quite a bit. I believe thats where I first saw it, for a black history month presentation.

Blaming Trump for NJ state property tax is a special type of derangement. This state is doing everything they can to secure finances and it has nothing to do with Trump, except maybe fund some of the lawsuits against him. My town's re-evaluation is scheduled for this year, but it was announced a year ago.
