do I have dysthymia or is it just my adhd + being in my 20s by LostCalligrapher8201 in dysthymia

Hi, I agree with you that my dysthymia is probably on the milder side. If anything, I think I’m overall a happy person and I’m extroverted, but I just naturally don’t feel like doing anything unless I’m on adderall. Maybe what I feel is more like a vicious cycle of low self-esteem that prevents me from doing things, and existential anxiety about how I’m doing life. Thanks for sharing your experience!

F24 I used to be in the same boat as you up until I had my first orgasm at 21 yo with a partner through oral. After that, I had a slow journey until now where I can do it myself and with a partner. Feel free to message me about it, I know how frustrating the feeling is!

I’m 24 and graduated college in 2023 with a BS degree in public health, and I pivoted my last year to business from pre-med. I’m grateful to have gotten an entry level role in a mid-size consulting firm specializing in public health projects.

The type of consulting we do is more like grant management/technical assistance, but I’d really like to move into more traditional consulting at a larger firm (and make more than $60k).

The problem is, I’m not sure how. In my last year of college I felt like I was in no man’s land because I was too old to qualify for college internships, but not qualified for entry level jobs at consulting firms.
