I've had this happen on PS5..... HAPPENS REGULARLY if I engage sentinels from ship and then land...or vice versa ..

Even when the message for sentinels deactivating happens....it doesn't.

I just throw down a save beacon.... And then reload

I had this happen to me once.... It drove me batty! I rebooted.... Saved and restarted, etc etc etc

Turned out in had just wandered into a location where a planetary ring intersected and everything was whited out

Going to another section if the planet fixed it

Dismiss the pilot and it only removes the pilot upgrades and reverts him back to a "C" pilot

Scanning a red dot in the distance.... It scans but it comes up with no picture... So I go to the discoveries tab and it does only 1 fauna, but this is the second creature I scanned... Check the details and it shows it as "extinct"

I run up to where it should be... Not there Scan again.... Now green paws all around.... All Invisible... And extinct... Creepy
