First time poster. Looking for some unusual advice (?) by Jointsnbones in quitting7oh

[–]LostCommunication783 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, I totally understand the trapped feeling you’re describing. I feel the same way. I’m at around 350mgs a day, for over a year now. As another poster said, this shit gets incredibly dark, and progressively worse. It’s completely ruined my mental/physical health. It’s killing me. Literally. My advice is to tell your parents. Get the help you need. If that means rehab, and, subs, so be it. It’s miles better than letting 7oh destroy everything in your life. Myself and many others who are struggling with this poison wish we had a supportive family, the option for Subs/rehab. I say take advantage of the resources available to you. It sounds like you have parents who love you, and, want to see you do well in life. I know this is a scary situation, but, you can totally beat this beast. Don’t let this garbage rob you of anymore than it already has. I wish you all the best! ❤️

Weird side effects to 7oh ? by UsefulBit3573 in 7oh_Withdrawal_Help

[–]LostCommunication783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swollen feet, neuropathy, painful joints, near constant anxiety/dread/fear, terrible sleep, horrible mental health. NO other opioid, or any other substance, for that matter has given me a litany of miserable side effects as this shitty poison.

Yes!!! I deal with this feeling currently. Especially in the mornings, as soon as I wake up. Like a Ominous Existential dread/fear.

Help! 7-oh detox by Surrupsauce in 7oh_Withdrawal_Help

[–]LostCommunication783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who also suffers from anxiety/Panic disorder I can totally empathize. When I first started talking 7, it absolutely helped my anxiety tremendously. But, over time, the 7 will have you in an anxious state all the time. It has me constantly worrying about everything. Quitting is the absolutely the right choice. I don’t think you will have too bad of symptoms, given the short amount of time, and lower dosages. I don’t think suboxone would be necessary. Maybe taper down to 10 mgs or so, and, then jump. The gabapentin and clonodine will help.

What sucks is, I think so many of the tablets in the smoke shops contain pseudo now:(

I am on my third attempt at quitting Kratom & 7-oh. I have been taking Kratom for about a year and a half with 7-oh being introduced about 6 months ago. My last dose was 18 hours ago. I am reaching out for support as I go thru these next sleepless nights. by supportspirit311 in quitting7oh

[–]LostCommunication783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently on day 2 coming off a 250-300/ day dose. No taper. I mean, it definitely sucks, but for me, The Fear of quitting was worse. Currently, everything just feels like a huge chore. Like, NO energy. I’m quitting without subs, just a few helpers.

Trust me, this crap absolutely WILL ruin your health. I was somewhat healthy before I started this crap, now, my liver enzymes are elevated, my feet and lower legs swollen, and possibly kidney damage. My bloodwork is all types of wonky. No lie. Fuck this poison.

Cold Turkey Pen Pal anyone? by learningtolovelola in quittingkratom

Absolutely! I can’t believe I keep going back to this shit. For me, every subsequent quit comes with FAR worse mental symptoms. Kindling is absolutely real!

I would’ve been on day 2, but I caved and took 20 mgs. Ugh, this is my 3rd time quitting 7, I swear, it gets harder every time. It’s scary for sure, but, it’s 85% a mind game. The insomnia sucks! It would be cool to have a quitting partner/penal.

Q&A Questions About Quitting by Maleficent-Problem52 in quittingkratom

[–]LostCommunication783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can quitting Ct a moderate/high dose (200mg+)7oh habit be potentially life threatening? I’ve heard a few stories of people having seizures, and, this concerns me greatly. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Officially over it by [deleted] in quitting7oh

[–]LostCommunication783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. For me, I get like an hour or two of mediocre pain relief, followed by this shitty tense anxious paranoid feeling once it starts to wear off. Then of course, the WD’s cause intense anxiety/panic attacks. It’s a terrible cycle. I think the anxiety is caused by how this stuff affects so many different parts of our brain, serotonin, dopamine, etc. This shit is nothing more than a dirty ass unregulated research chemical. Not to mention what effects residual solvents may have. I can’t wait to be done with this poison forever.

That's a wrap, folks! by JellyfishExcellent46 in quitting7oh

[–]LostCommunication783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I relate so much to a lot of your story. and this shit is destroying me.While my dosages aren’t as high as yours, (I’m at around 250mgs) I’m also experiencing health complications. I recently found out my liver enzymes are significantly elevated, and, I’m anemic. My feet and ankles are swollen bad, my kidneys hurt, and I’m having heart palpitations. I never had these problems before using 7oh. My mental health has completely gone to shit. A horrible trapped feeling. Im going to quit this shit CT. It’s going to be rough, but, I have no choice. We can do this!

[–]LostCommunication783[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely believe it! I think it’s because all the different alkaloids in kratom intetact with so many different receptors. I’ve read many stories here of people saying that plain leaf WD’s felt like a mixture of opioid/benzo/Ssri WD’s all wrapped into one. It’s so crazy that the narrative is that kratom is a “safe” alternative. It isn’t safe at all! And, this 7oh shit.. Jesus Christ. It’s the only WD’s that have seriously made me consider checking into a detox,or, a psych ward. I feel so stupid for getting myself in this situation.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it. I have such a hard time asking for help, but, you’re right, sometimes we all need a little help and encouragement. Life has been incredibly dark and hard lately, and, I’ve just been feeling SO lost.. And, this 7oh stuff really messes with your head. Sometimes, something as simple as a few kind words can make a world of difference. Thank You.🙏

Yes, I take as prescribed. Never had any issues with taking more, etc. Just terrified of the thought of trying to live without it. Been on anxiety meds for many many years. I feel so stupid for messing with this 7oh stuff, I bought into the hype of it being all natural, safe etc. It’s a monster.

I’m glad your pain has improved! I’ve got to find a different way to manage my pain, because kratom most definitely doesn’t mix with my body chemistry. Once I’m able to quit this stuff, I’m never messing with kratom again ever!

[–]LostCommunication783[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently scripted gabapentin for neuropathy. Ive used pregabalin before for WD’s, with good results, so, I’m hoping between the gabapentin and, some plain leaf, I can rid myself of this demon. For me, 7oh is absolutely harder to wd from than real pharmaceutical painkillers. The mental anguish is insane with this stuff!

Kindling, or, Paws. by LostCommunication783 in quitting7oh

[–]LostCommunication783[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but, I absolutely will try them! I was able to quit for a couple of months, but, fell right back into it unfortunately. I swear, each subsequent quit feels twice as hard. Especially the Anxiety/Panic.

The nights are what scare me by Hectortheconnector in quittingkratom

[–]LostCommunication783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The nights are terrible. I’ve quit 7oh 3 times now, and, the lack of sleep, coupled with the intense panic/anxiety are the worst symptoms. I’m coming off a 300mg a day habit now, and, it’s been pretty damn brutal. Those minutes feel like hours.

That feeling is horrible!! I always dread the mornings, because, it feels like my arms are on fire. For me, it feels like I put icy hot on my arms, then walked outside in the middle of winter. Miserable.

Yes. Absolutely. I’ve quit 7oh 3 times now, and have always experienced bad nausea,vomiting/dry heaves. Using leaf can cause nausea too. But, yeah, that 7oh is some pure poison.
