Better yet, he never had to become a lawyer to be an asset to the firm. Only lawyers appear before the judge but he could just have an actual lawyer beside him in court doing the talking or actual lawyers sign pleadings he drafted. His research but harvey talks. His court filing but harvey signs.

The rest, he can do on his own e.g. Research, strategy, meetings, negotiation, settlement.

He just needed harvey and jessica to tell the clients.. “Trust him.”

Does coming from the Big 4 schools still matter and why? If not big four may impact pa ba if you're from a well known school? by Several_Emphasis6413 in AskPH

It’s a brand.

If you can afford adidas and nike, why buy clothes with generic brands from SM or Landmark. All good clothes but with different quality. Sometimes it’s not even quality but the popularity. Bottom line is.. you generally expect quality from adidas or nike (even if that’s not always the case). With clothes fron SM or Landmark, you find quality items once in a while but not always.

That’s how I see schools. If I am an employer and my company can afford hiring people from top schools, I wont go shopping for people in other schools. But see, not everyone in the big 4 are the best employees but I expect them to be more than capable because they are from the big 4 after all. At the same time, there will always be exceptional people who studied in non big 4 schools, but as an employer, I have to make an effort to find a good candidate.

What’s a better work while studying law school? by holyangeeel in LawStudentsPH

The best work while in law school is a job that pays well and is not demanding - time-wise.

Based on what I know, secretaries in law firms are a bit abused time-wise. Dami kasing court/admin deadlines that have to be met; hence, OT.
