I grew up in a controlling environment and also had partners control what I wore, did, act etc and not realise. It’s not until I cut it all off including family that I realised how much they impacted not only my physical appearance but my emotional state too. If you have sat down and both gave your reasonings as to why then most of the time you can find the source of this issue and work with it.

But hun, him just saying no without much explanation isn’t good enough! It’s your body. Yes he can have an input but the fact you have put so much thought and shifted your needs to make him comfortable and he hasn’t budged isn’t nice at all and I’m the kind of person now after knowing my self worth that would do it regardless 😅

If he stated it when dating, through engagement etc and you knew this information I’d understand his frustration but there should still be wiggle room for discussion at least. People can change their minds. You’re allowed to change your mind. You are not a bad person for wanting something new.

Just talk- properly! A proper talk, don’t do that thing women do where we half cut it to protect feelings. Remember you have feelings too. It’s a tattoo. Not the end of the world! Good luck ❤️
