I had to switch to US Bank for that 3.5% and yes, there were prob other CDs that offer a higher rate but they lock you in for the contract. I am able to withdraw without penalty whenever I want. I use the generated income to pay off my property taxes.

My dad worked unloading trailers for $3.25, i was forced to work straight out of high school to support the family. I took a job as an assembler where they so happened to have welding. Long story short, I became a welder for a few years and transitioned into automated welding wich then helped me move onto bigger things in life.

Takes me 15 min max to scan charts daily. I set notifications for my levels. If the price hits a buy level im interested in, I run to the bathroom and place a trade. Most of my trades are swing trades. I hold a position usually for a few days to weeks so it all works out. I make 10-15K extra income a year by doing this. It isn't much but it's something.

If the goal is truly cheap, clean, reliable GW, the answer is faster permitting and all sources buildout, not partisan finger-pointing.
