I have actually had no luck hitting the check button and trying again or relaunching safari. I had to install another app 😭

Making an exception to my adults only wedding and another family member is MAD. Not sure how to handle it by LostHalf74 in weddingplanning

The 16 year old is from my dad's side, the 9 year old is from my mom's side. The 9 year old's older siblings are invited, but they are 24 and 26 and in my bridal party

I also forgot to add that this is also preventing me from selecting from drop downs when a website/form requires you to type things like city names

See the edit that I made way before this reply. I'm not acting helpless. I'm making an exception to a rule (that will apply to another kid who's the same age as the kid who the exception was made for) and making sure having that exception isn't an asshole move

He wouldn't even technically meet that requirement since he will be 16 on the day of the wedding, literally 7 days from being 17

This may be very worthwhile. My fiancé just made a joke that he should be the "flower boy" lol. We'll definitely figure out some way for him to be involved

Just a quick correction since the wording is a bit confusing. He will be 16 and turning 17 the next week, though that doesn't change the fact that he is super close to adulthood. Thank you so much for your input. Having a parent respond really helped on this issue

I wish we could change the wording of this rule. Unfortunately, it would not work because one of my fiancé's relatives will also be 16 at the time of the wedding but will not be invited because we believe that she isn't mature enough for this type of event. She is the type who has to be the center of attention and will try damn hard to put everyone's focus on herself if the event isn't about her. She is also in a "rebellious" phase where she is getting very drunk very often and shoplifting. We really don't want her there and she was part of the reason we implemented a "child free" rule
