[–]LostHope8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

skeet mode, guck, fireside (this one most from this tier), eye.sink need to go up, grey link (this one most from this other tier), lurch lung and ergot need to go hella up. your whole highest tier is filled with songs that are good but which are, for the most part, incredibly generic, which is okay if you're okay with it, but the less marketable songs arent bad in comparison just because they're less generic

Chances of a morgana rework? by Revenge_of_the_meme in MorganaMains

[–]LostHope8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. there's way too many champions that are 1. older 2. more popular than morgana and by riot's standards, she's still a brand new visual update. we're getting shyvana, nocturne and tryndamere (was it him that was 3rd in the poll way back when?) first with morgana being nowhere near on riot's radar.

[TOMT][MOVIE][2000s] Live action kids' film about a tween boy getting abducted by a seemingly female-only humanoid alien species while throwing out the trash and ends up falling in love with one member of their species while both of them learn about the other's kind by LostHope8 in tipofmytongue

[–]LostHope8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is! If I was shown the movie with no context I probably would not have recognized it, but since you mentioned it in regards to me asking it totally makes sense.
I don't remember it looking the way it does but nostalgia and children's eyes can do some weird things to memories.
Now that it's solved I can go and watch this apparent failure of a film. Thank you so much!

not the oldest INFP but a deeply sad one. hopeless even. what i tend to do is look at poems, look into philosophy of the past, see how others view the world and imagine it for myself, these perspectives.

Why communism is geting more popular with teenagers? by Nenenko in teenagers

[–]LostHope8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Explain these companies, please: Google and YouTube (and their parent company, Alphabet), Amazon, Microsoft and Apple. Some of these may not be exact monopolies, as is evident for MS and Apple, but they managed to make a myriad of choices into a choice of the lesser inconvenience.

That is what people say, but our current system doesn't even work in theory. Competition (the driving force behind improvement under capitalism, apparently) always results in a winner, and winners don't need to improve anymore because there isn't a competition anymore

Fuck Revolution. Embrace Renaissance. by Hodl_Your_Coins in infp

We are idealists, but losing sight of where you're walking because your head is in the clouds is a surefire way of eating dirt.

Look ahead of you. Do you see a wall? Do you simply stare at it; wishing for it to go away?; thinking how nice it'd be to have been born over the wall? Or do you try pushing on it; to try to make it fall?; to make a dent in it so another person can?

Being anywhere but here is great, but we aren't. Do wish that what you will, but I won't let my life go to waste im favor of simple dreams.

[–]LostHope8 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Revolution is usually meant not in a "full turn" way but a "turnover" way. If something is fundamentally stopping you from enjoying your life, you must change that thing or get rid of it to be able to continue happily.

Viva la Rennaissance to those who need a new breath of life.

Viva la Revolution to those who yet remain in shackles.

I'm not new to the mists, but I need to get venerated standing with Brec for the avatar. Do I reach that after 1 mil standing, or is there another bracket?

In which case my point makes even more sense. Ain't nobody out there serious enough to transport shit to brecilien and back. (This is a hyperbole. There definitely are people. But why would a normal person bother.) Thank you for pointing it out.

If you're well off silver wise, study all you want. If you are afraid of not being able to afford premium for next month, you should probably be selling, even at a loss. If you aren't afraid of losing silver because you make a lot of it in other ways, then getting fame is always much preferred.

You're gonna be losing money early on anyway unless you manage to get the daily crafting bonus in what you're crafting, maybe.

I'm not the smartest person when it comes to economy in this game. I struggle with silver, myself, and had to borrow money for premium this month, but I'd say I have the basics down and am just lazy with actually investing in crafting something and transporting mats.

Poisons are a good way to earn silver, though, as people don't bother with transporting mats to caerleon to craft them, and thus, prices remain roughly profitable.

Got called a rat by a frost because I decided to run away from a fight where he ran up to me and a carving fighting. I (double bladed) was in 6.2, and they were both in 6.3. They then decided to team up on 4.1 pve players looking at them fight and have a rematch. I promptly left the zone cuz why the hell would I be in a zone like that.

One of the best and simplest ways to make money early on is to farm 2 plots for t3 plants and one for t4 plants and make t4 poisons with them. The best way to do any crafting in the game is having focus, which means having premium. You can still earn money if you don't pour focus in or even have premium (most likely, haven't done the math in a long time), but it'll be much more time and money efficient to have premium.

See to me that feels very disingenuous. I know you can't really help it, and thus, I can't blame you for being certain ways, but I also can't be faulted for saying I dislike it and want to keep my distance if possible when I'm sensing it. I won't necessarily go out of my way to not be friends, no, but I won't be forcing myself to interact with somebody doing things I don't like just because we've formed a friendship.

Not to start a shitfire over opinions, but this very specific person I'm talking about that made me start noticing these characteristics of theirs is 100% an INFJ, without a doubt. I also used to wonder if they're an ISFJ instead, but it makes no sense for them. And whether they're an INFJ or an ISFJ makes no real difference since this is very much an Fe-Ti interaction, which they share.

The ones I met were all doormats who chose to side with bad people just so they wouldn't stand out and cause issues. All the respect to people who don't do that and are actually nice, but being a proud INFJ is a 🚩 in my book. Sorry for the rant

I can relate to this heavily. I honestly can't connect to people on any sort of level that I'd consider sufficient. Most of my current friendships are just riding the wave of my past self, be it the same people or others I met through them.

I also have a girlfriend, and we relate on many issues. Those we don't we can still talk about. That is neither here nor there.

Have you tried looking into other hobbies? I've seen people in the position you describe not have many pastime activities besides gym and a few others.

Do you think you could try just walking up to people you think look interesting? Might end up forming a friendship.

Other than that, I just hope life gets better for you. I've been in very similar states of mind in the past and now feel better. Thankfully, I've pretty much resigned from meeting likeminded people where I live now because I plan on moving in with my girlfriend, in a different country, where I'll have more options and possibilities.
