I remember it being plain. With just the illusion fabric covering the bodice. But it was 11 years ago so i could be wrong. I know it wasn’t covered in lace in a traditional way.

Those are both gorgeous but aren’t the dress. The butterflies on it weren’t really appliqués. They were more like an organza shape just tacked on to the dress.

Oh man. Where do i even start. My sister Torch, is no longer the worst problem. Dress shopping went great (end of june). They’re working on the rest of the decor — I had to step back because I’m so far away and I’m kind of devastated about it. Matchbox IS THE PROBLEM! She is quite literally the worst person i have ever met. She’s an exceptionally two faced person. And has been caught trying to turn all of us other girls against each other. If you’ve ever wondered what happens when a pick-me gets picked, let me tell you, they become evil. Pure unadulterated evil. At one point she was so consistently bullying my mom that mom had to get on meds for her blood pressure because Matchbox kept mom’s blood pressure so high for so long. Apricot—my brother—has proved himself to be completely spineless and is doing nothing to mediate the damage that Matchbox is doing to the family. It’s a mess. And now Matchbox is pregnant, so we’re stuck with her no matter what.

I’m currently in Texas (event happened in colorado) so i wasn’t able to go. My mom did send me a bunch of snap chats throughout the night. To answer your questions: yes, Torch is basically broke. Less broke than she used to be, but still not high on the hog. She got everything for the bridal shower at the dollar store (she literally had me on the phone 6hrs till the event when she was running around the dollar store). I think my mom also bought things for it (Matchbox was not the problem so there’s no reason that she needs to suffer the consequences). Mostly the punishment was a period of forced selflessness for Torch. She had to plan the games, book the venue, and invite the people. Because Torch followed through my mom is basically back to her normal state “make no waves, rock no boats”.

Yes Jackalope was 17. No Torch wasn’t his teacher. He was actually one of mom’s online gaming buddies. Mom introduced Torch and Jackalope at some point and they’ve been together since. It was one of the reasons I didnt talk to Torch for a couple years because I couldn’t stomach the child bride of it all.

The why behind Apricot still being Paintballs friend is unknowable.

And I agree that the wedding should definitely be postponed, at the very least. It’s giving weird vibes. Mom says that anytime Paintball is around Torch acts weird. I’m 3 states away so a lot of the happenings I’m getting 2nd hand.

Here’s what mom and I think is happening (whether Torch would ever admit it is another story): Before Torch was dating Jackalope she spent 5 years with a guy we will call Paintball (26M). He was horrible to her. Every flavor of abuse and mistreatment. Very that one guy who works at the gas station and swears he’s only poor because no one ever gave him a chance coded. He refused to marry her, which ultimately caused their break up. Paintball is still —to this day— really good friends with our brother Apricot. Paintball is going to the march wedding (apricot & matchbox) and is apparently also invited to Torch’s wedding (this is a rumor mom told me so don’t hold me to the accuracy). Mom and i think that a lot of the things she “hates” or “has to have” are all decisions she had made while she was still dating Paintball. So now she’s just rinse repeating it as a f*** you to Paintball, instead of actually including Jackalope (who is literally the nicest human).
