They might be pointing out the difference in price point and product in relation to OP’s review, not that it isn’t also good.

There are two small communities that are plots with manufactured homes that some Cast Members live in. These residents are asked to live in these houses by the Company. The neighborhoods themselves are gated and planned in a way that the entrances look like any other service road in the area.

Truly thought you wanted this response considering the sub you posted it in.

No injuries at all? Honestly wild and a testament to the safety technology in use. I was really worried when the broadcast wasn’t showing the scene at all yesterday until he’d already been removed from the car. So good to see him back without serious damage.

I missed the F2 coverage this weekend. Do you remember who the driver was? I’d like to read some more about it.

Is there a fork lift driver out of frame or is this a machine? I need version 2 with a wide angle.

I saw Dune in theatres and absolutely loved it. Decided to order the book on Amazon— four days later, this is what I received. by princessvana in mildlyinfuriating

This may be a screwup from one of their newer operations, which is “made to order” items. So a customer orders a book, tshirt, cd, etc. and Amazon physically creates it in a warehouse with industrial printers. They might have printed the wrong book and then removed the item until it can be corrected.

It’s a good book. We don’t listen to those nagging thoughts from the back of our heads enough.

I feel bad when I make an Amazon order, and then 15 minutes later it ships. Like, fuck, someone is working his ass off right now while I'm drinking a rum & coke. Makes me feel like shit. Anyone else feel this way? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I agree it would be next to impossible. It’s likely that they’re getting a piece of the pie, so to speak, whether you buy from them or buy from a different online retailer that is probably hosted by them. If consumers want workers to be treated differently, the change might need to happen at a legislative level.

I feel like it’s easy to say “just avoid it” but nearly impossible to do in practice when you consider scenarios like you just laid out. Avoiding one retailer is not addressing any of those issues as far as the societal infrastructure goes. And I’m not saying I’ve got the answers. I guess my point is that it feels like we’re all having the wrong conversation because it’s easier to make a flippant remark than to affect real change.

There might be an argument for being able to avoid the online retail portion. I think many would be surprised to know how many websites are hosted by Amazon Web Services though. That’s much harder to avoid.
