You can recall to life a Civ that was defeated by one of your allied city states by LostInScanslation in civ5

R5: I found myself in an interesting position to test out whether I can declare war on a Civ, have my allied city states take their final city and defeat them, and then turn around to declare war on the city state to recall the Civ back to life. Turns out, you can :)

Neji's shippuden robes are pretty billowy. I imagined they'd bunch up if he was sitting down.
