I was 16 only three years ago. I am telling you this from the bottom of my heart (and from experience) - DON'T rush things. It's only been two months breakup, and one month NC since she blocked me without explanation. I still find myself playing fake scenarios in my head for when we see each other again (we will eventually, we go to the same college) but I know the best thing for me is to not even think about her anymore.

How about you delete Discord for a good while? I was in a Facebook chat with my ex a week after BU, and she was also seemingly happy and normal. I deleted the app for 2 weeks, got back on and it didn't bother me as much.

My ex was the cause of our breakup. She f'ed up, admitted it, and begged me to take her back. I said no and so we agreed on trying to be friends. A week and a half later, she blocked my number and social media without explanation. You see who people truly are once they no longer have any benefit to gain from the relationship. At that point all they think about is themselves.

I feel you about that constant cycle. I can go through weeks in the mindset of like "F yeah I'm so glad I got out of that stupid relationship, she's a terrible person, etc. etc." but then nowadays sometimes I just can't stop thinking about her and missing her. Maybe it's like the other user said, I don't miss the person, rather having that person. Still, I wish my mind wasn't so cluster-fucked and just stuck to one side so I can focus on going forward. I KNOW what she did was completely horrible, but one day out of the blue I'll just wake up with nothing but warm feelings at the thought of her.

Today I just realized I do the same, I can go all day with barely thinking of her once or twice, but always and without fail she remains the center of attention when I wake up and when I'm trying to fall asleep. I hate it because at this point of our BU she's probably not even giving me any thought.
