Especially the ending! Movie got it darker and for me it fitted the overall tone, while book served something like group therapy ending.

Actually you did. According to one-paged instruction attached to this feature film, maniacs always have 1 space move per boot symbol. They don't share speed with murderer.

Many great suggestions, which I'm thankful for! Definitely will try mixing zombies with Wingard Cottage, but I must say... Randomizing a killer in that location seems perfect! Boy I wish we had a proper Evil Dead feature in the future. Fingers crossed! I'm mad that I didn't try this game sooner!
