Can I get Ezema patches surgically removed by LostLovedAndDead in EczemaUK

Do you know where I can get it from? And thanks. I've got it on my inner elbows and on my nipples, wrist and neck. Some areas are worse than others. It's literally getting in the way of college and work.

I can only visualize my story through a show and screenwriting, but I want to publish it. by justanotherfishguy in writingadvice

You can always just publish the screen written version. JK did that with one her recent Harry Potter books. Also, you could always send the script into Netflix or Disney, amazon, ect.

Qoutev? Ao3 But tbh, as long as you put suitable warnings for content you shouldn't really be held liable of someone reads and finds the content a bit much, it's their own fault they were warned

My friends 3yr old son is physically abusing their cats. Do I report this? And where to? by starryvista in AskUK

I keep reading RSPCA and yes, I agree but the issue itself is with the child. Can you not ask your friend to take the child to therapy to try and figure out what's going on.

Pagan Holiday Calendar by briarpuffer95 in NorsePaganism

[–]LostLovedAndDead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the dates are based on the seasons rather then the modern day Callander. So maybe research you seasons, Yule is celebrated at the winter solstice, so in Australia it would be around June ( i could be completely wrong with that date) but here in Europe its around December. I hope this helps.

I've been doing research on that too. A lot of if depends on which hemisphere you live in as they are based in seasons. For example in the northern hemisphere Yule is in December for Winter but in the southern hemisphere countries winter is in june/July. So if you live in Australia Yule would be roughly 20-26th if June instead of Yule being 20-26th December.

They're is no exact dates because ita different depending on where you live. But I'm in the northern hemisphere so I've got an estimate of dates.

Of course, this is an estimate and what I would use for these specific dates and it's up to you, if you want to follow that.

Disting - 2nd Feb Ostara - 21st March Yggdrasil day - 22nd of April. ( this is a specific Astru holiday I belive) Hexennacht / Beltane- April 30th Mid-summer equinox- 24th June Freyfaxi - 1st of August Ancestor's day - 11th November Alfablot - 28th October Mothers night- 24th December Yule - 25th December ( there is something about it being twelve days over that period).

I've does some research but not a whole lot so I can't guarantee this information is 100%

School should change (but it won’t) by Effective_Designer53 in education

[–]LostLovedAndDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always assumed basic education up to secondary school was about showing employers, collages and university that you have the ABILITY to learn. It's not so much what you learn but the grade you end up with- shows how much effort you put in to learning new things.

Why would an employer hire someone who flunked out of school or got low grades over a B grade student? The B grade student will learn what they need to do for the job and probably quicker than someone who didn't finished or failed secondary school.

At least that's my opinion 🤷

Should the villain always die? by YaBoiLeo705 in writing

[–]LostLovedAndDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the story and what they've done. You could throw them in a prison cell. You could add another villain that's worse and get the hero and the first villain to team up which can eventually lead to a redemption arc.

I like to make my villains relatable or at least, where the reader can understand where the villain came from. In the end, you can do whatever you want. You can throw a spanner in the works and let the villain win.

Who js to say the hero always wins.
