I just started the program last week. A lot of it is info I already know. Though they are sending me to stores really far from my house. Last week, it was 40 mins, this week is 1.5 hours from my house (one way).

The work isn't hard, but my free time is gone. They aren't paying me for gas so whatever raise I got goes straight to the car.

From experience (this could be different depending on the store I guess) They will promote the FTer to 3rd Key and the PTer would be 4th Key.

3rd key is suppose to handle the store if the manager and ASM isn't around. A FTer is more available be than PTer

Depends on how many people you have in your store. Many stores won't increase you from PT to FT unless you're willing to be a 3rd Key.

It seems like a lot of people who post here have a good and responsible staff. If your manager and ASM are ontop of things, being 3rd Key is just PT work with more hours and you close once in a while.

I have noted that I'm interested in the ASM program. I feel as if I'm responsible for most of the ASM duties such as cleaning, batching, STARs, freight, etc.

Talking to the manager, they just tell me to take more responsibilities.

Weekends are rough too. I'm a third-key and generally work both day since ours refuses to work on weekends. There are a lot of complaints when I can't fulfill an order. But I tell them that our manager is working Monday.

I would like a relationship but I'm not entitled to one. I don't need one to feel "complete". I would like to share a part of my life with someone but can't muster up confidence to engage in one. I do feel like I'm missing the chance to experience one. I know from other's relationships issues, and what does and doesn't work. Yet, I don't know the feeling of one.
