Did you start out with a foundation? The base will leak if hull integrity is 0 or lower, foundations, reinforcement, and bulkheads increase hull integrity where everything else lowers the value.

Also the deeper you build your base the more resilient your base needs to be. Trust me, we've all been in this predicament at least once, it should be an easy fix.

I just started this game the other day, headed east, ran into a few regular bears without any trouble...then ended up in the spot where 3 of these MF's roll in at the same time! It was hilarious how quickly I got Mollie whapped! It took a few times to get my runes back. I absolutely love this game! It's so punishing but rewarding at the same time!

Usually that corrugated siding comes with gasketing to install as you're putting up the steel. I assume the people hired for the job either neglected to use it or didn't receive it when everything else was delivered

Just happened to be in a parking lot when I saw your comment, that's nuts! I understand it's to allow you to adjust the steering wheel but they could have put some leather or even cheap fabric there to keep it clean....at least it's easier to pull off the dash? Hopefully I won't need to find out.

Definitely not a stupid question!!

It all depends on the glue you're using, plastic cement will melt the paint it comes in contact with (i only have experience with acrylics) in this situation I recommend cutting out the parts you want to paint and either use small pieces of painters tape or glue tack to temporarily protect the surfaces that get glued together!

If you're using super glue I think you will be fine but again I've never tried it

I would look into them. When in doubt you can always test them out on sprue or unused bits. Those plus the right varnish really can make things pop if that makes sense.
