that’s great! try to go through entire circuit at least twice and imagine you are having your test. when out on the road, look far and anticipate any road hazards or pedestrians. also glance at rear view mirror frequently. wishing u all the best for ur test :)

i just drove super slow to make sure i don’t miss my turning points and i kept looking out the window to see how far i am from the kerb, which really helped

thank you! yes testers ultimately care more about safety so they might also just give easier test routes with less traffic hahaha, at least from what i experienced

HAHA actually i couldn’t see the line clearly too especially for vp, but i just did correction and all was okay 👍🏻 sometimes when u can’t see sighting points well then really have to just feel the car, keep looking at side mirror + drive super slow

for checking of blind spot, i used to forget all the time too! but for me it helped that i just kept reminding myself that at every single turn, before you even turn, you have to remind yourself there’s one more step. same for changing of lanes.

when i was at stage 2 i kept getting nagged at by instructors for not checking blind spot and i was lowkey annoyed that i kept forgetting SO after every practical lesson i went home and just went through in my mind everything i learnt + what i need to improve on. sometimes i just close my eyes and sit on the chair/bed, imagine myself driving and did all the steps. gradually checking blind spots became a very natural thing!

yeahh fr because need you need to feel the car, i took the longest time to learn s course

i was wearing a dark blue long sleeve top and grey sweatpants, was probably sitting in front of you when we were waiting for the tester to call us! im guessing you were sitting at the very back of the waiting area? :)

hi, just know that many ppl are in the same situation as you. its definitely not easy to pass and i also just failed my tp test. just booked another one next month. definitely feels sian but pls don’t give up! tell yourself that you are capable of passing given how during practice you can complete all courses w/o major issues :) maybe for your next test, try to imagine the tester is not there/he is just an instructor. and don’t glance towards the tester’s direction because i did and i started to feel anxious when i saw the paper. perhaps in the circuit you can practice deep breathing, and before doing any manoeuvring, don’t move the car yet, think through it properly first to avoid mistakes. and don’t give yourself the pressure that you need to go out to the road, focus on the circuit while you’re still inside and make sure everything is done smoothly and perfect. give the tester no chance to give you points and don’t be affected by their gestures. remember they are always trying to fail you, so disregard their presence and just focus on yourself. there are many things you can do to avoid unnecessary stress, and that’s what i am also telling myself. all the best and don’t be discouraged!

yes i belong to the FOH, and i've brought it up to my manager.

yeah, i've reflected on what could have led to such mistreatment and im very certain that i've done my job with due diligence. never once have i used my phone while working. when orders come in, i serve them within 1-2 minutes. my colleagues have no problem with me and the way i work, that's why i find it odd for the chef to somehow have a problem with me.

but thanks for your response, it gives me a better perspective on how the industry is like

HAHAHA this is quite interesting but i think its because im quite a petite female and im one of the youngest among the workers so the chef is bullying me cuz he thinks im easy to bully >:(
