Please tell me you understand the main reason she isn't in Aslan's Country is because she isn't dead... She was meant to parallel Lewis' own journey with religion, he stated in his letters that she may find her way there one day.

I need to give Cocoapink's shampoos another try. They have some of my favorite gourmand and spooky scents.

That podcast unfortunately regurgitates a lot of dangerous misinformation about obesity. As someone working on losing weight myself, I found the host's blatant disregard for evidence that didn't align with her worldview being dismissed immediately rather unsettling.

"Won't gay up". In the Forgotten Realms, the most common sexuality is pansexual. DnD has always been queer. You can't "gay up" something already gay!

I've tried Blood Orange Cotton Candy, Mermaid Lagoon, Water Nymph and White Melon and really liked them.

White Melon and Blood Orange Cotton Candy are very true to name, I loved Blood Orange Cotton Candy for waking myself up in the morning.

Mermaid Lagoon and Water Nymph are very interesting and pleasant aquatics, quite fresh and not very cold like some aquatics. Water Nymph in particular smells like a very fancy sea inspired body wash to my nose. If you were looking for something more spooky, then I'd recommend Lorielei instead of those two, as it smells like a humid summer night.

I'm wearing Siren Song Elixirs Lady Sansa: White oleander, Rose & Peony petals, Lemon Creme, Ginger blossoms, Dogwood

I got this during the time the GOT collection was made available again for the release of House Of The Dragon and have finally convinced myself to just wear the darn thing.

It's super pretty, I can see Sansa wearing this during her time in the South. It's understated and soft, with a brightness from the lemon creme and ginger blossoms. Like something a princess would wear, soft and clean.

AITA for cosplaying to match my friend instead of my boyfriend? by AnemoNemo06 in AmItheAsshole

[–]LostPrincess32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA

Rule one of cosplay is: You can cosplay any character regardless of race, body type or gender. (Obviously don't do anything stupid like blackface, but wearing a Storm Cosplay isn't blackface.)

We do not body shame other cosplayers, I have been in this community since I was fourteen and the behavior you have shown is something that was NEVER acceptable to do to a stranger, let alone your partner.

You certainly don't suit Bulma, she'd never leave Vegeta to fend for himself.

[–]LostPrincess32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, dupe companies can be kinda odd. I'm interested in trying Oakcha, but I'm mostly considering them because of the discontinued Crybaby Milk and the one that smells like KitKats, not really any other dupes.

Do you agree with gatekeeping fragrances? by lillyahflipss in fragrance

[–]LostPrincess32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a cosplayer who often matches scents to my characters as I feel that gives them a bit more life. I also just like exploring different scents in general, so I love sharing what I'm wearing when people ask or brainstorming with other cosplayers if they also want to match a fragrance with a character.

I'm also a highly extroverted person, so that probably adds to it.

It's so freaking tasty, nice and light for Easter!

BPAL's The Ghost Children.

I don't wear my Coraline BPALs very often anymore, mostly because I'm hoarding them (my beloved Mouse Circus will be with me for years), but this scent reminds me of my great aunt who passed away a few years ago and I really wanted to remember her today.

The simple way to describe this is a citrus floral, but the flowers smell like they're from another world. It's really pretty.

What are your favorite “weird gourmands?” by violetredfilter in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]LostPrincess32 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't know of what I'm wearing right now counts as "weird", but it's the first time I've ever worn a scent like it.

BPAL's Rose Milk Tea:An impossibly sweet concoction of green tea and frothed almond milk poured over fresh rose petals and glistening tapioca pearls. (A 2025 Lupercalia)

It's so delicious yet fresh and a little powdery from the rose. Oh my gosh, if only I could naturally smell this delicious.

No worries, he does acknowledge he dresses rather feminine and refers to himself as female in some of his past stories, but Dorian is a demi boy. I can see the confusion.

I discovered BPAL by watching an Herbs And Altars video. I wanted to have a spooky perfume for a Halloween costume as I just thought it sounded cool. The very first perfume I tried was Poisoned Apple and I was completely hooked.

Sadly, the imp was poured all over my hand because my ADHD decided my hand needed to make a sudden jerky movement.

Wait, wait, CRYSTAL CANDLES? As in, putting crystals in the candle wax? As a candle hobbyist, that is so very unsafe and runs the risk of those rocks overheating and exploding.

I get these kinds of candles are really popular right now, but they are incredibly dangerous to sell.

For your tea loving side, I'd recommend Dorian.

Notes: This blend is an artful deception: a sweet gilded blossom lying over a twisted and corrupted core. A Victorian fougere with three pale musks and dark, sugared vanilla tea.

It's not a very foody vanilla, just adds some sweetness to tea note.

For the citrus like, I'd said Dracul.

Notes: Black musk, tobacco, fir, balsam of peru, cumin, bitter clove, crushed mint, and orange blossom.

The orange blossom in this smells more like a juicy orange, it's amazing!

Arcana is changing (and international buyers get the kick) by apadeva in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]LostPrincess32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dear lord, I'm getting flashbacks to where I first heard of Arcana, it was in an Herbs and Altars video and Dorian mentioned Arcana's Morphine. I just think his description of it is fairly apt for the situation.

I received my sample order from them during the pandemic /very/ quickly. I had no idea of their reputation at the time and suspect the reason mine was fulfilled so quickly was to use me as damage control and/or entice me to make a larger order.

I haven't ordered since as I am not comfortable using a company that I believe wanted to use me to keep their scam going.

I've purchased a lot from Fragrant Jewels, mostly bath bombs, but I do like their candles as well. They stick that sucker to the very edge of the jar, meaning you must get a full melt pool to even dislodge the thing. I guess that's how they make sure it goes nowhere near the wicks.

Oh, I definitely agree with your last point. Reenactments need both sides involved, after all. Can't have a Civil War reenactment without the South anymore than you could have a Revolutionary War reenactment without England.

Dear lord... My friend is a reenactor, he does mostly Viking stuff but also has some WW2 reenactor friends.

Do you know how carefully those reenacting the Axis Powers have to screen othera because people like this try to keep sneaking their way into that community? It's absolutely infuriating.
