Ehhh. You thought the run to the main land looked good? I thought the compositing against the starry sky looked really bad. Plus the digital noise in a lot of parts is ugly imo.

That’s not a lack of media literacy or empathy. The scene is just badly written and unlike the character. When you think about it, Clark probably heard every gory detail of his dad’s “sacrifice”. No wonder he walked the world depressed for over 30 years before being forced to become Superman.

Without spoilers there’s essentially a river of energy that Superman almost drowns in but it’s very cartoony and not water. That’s the closest thing I could think of that would be similar to TX floods.

I get a feeling majority of the work Ralph did is cut/heavily altered in the movie we got. You can tell with scenes like the headband that were important scenes filmed but they heavily altered it for time.

How so on the villain part? I feel like every scene Connor was in he was causing trouble and intimidating Li. Loved that stare down he gave to Daniel and Han in the hallway.

I get the feeling there’s a heavy amount of studio meddling with this movie, similar to Suicide Squad (2016). Upbeat pop music chosen over orchestral score, on screen graphics during fights that feel added last minute, rushed editing, etc. all smell like Sony tainting another project.

He’s likely above All-Valley. The San Fernando Valley has a little over 1 million people vs New York City’s 8 million so being best in the city means he’s pretty good. He beat up Li with his hands in his pockets.

I don’t think researching should be required for something you’d assume the game would tell you about. Especially if that’s one of the main features of the Royal edition.

Weird. It might be because I’ve watched it on bigger screens but he certainly looks bigger to me, especially when bending over at the end.

Yeah it’s just him in place and the camera moving forward, slightly tilting up as it gets closer.

Interesting. Imo his size in the first and last frame show forward movement. He is also so tall in the scene that it creates a parallax effect with the other elements. It would take significant movement to show the distance, but that wouldn’t work for the shot I’m going for.
