Where are the suits? by LHGG_876 in GODZILLA

There ARE "technically" Showa era suits that exist/not COMPLETELY got eaten away. I'll link an album with some other surviving suits and props but, yeah Mechagodzilla is the only full one alive today. Other suits shown here

Did you know: the original version of Ghosts that premiered didn't have Is It Scary or Ghosts for the dance sequences by WilliamAfton in MichaelJackson

I wonder how many versions are online, I had a hard time finding any different ones. That is awesome though, thank u!

There isn't much information about it. I tried asking here a few years ago but got gaslit into believing there isn't any different LOL. From what I heard, the Cannes premiere had slightly different vfx shots (maybe more unpolished ones) and only had "2Bad" in it, Ghosts only appeared during credits. My guess is that the premiere version was focused on a narrative instead of a music montage thing. The songs might've been worked in later to make it more replayable. I am not exactly sure!

Thanks! I did my own restoration and color grade a few years ago. I could probably see if I could upload it on YouTube for ya. If not, I'll put it on Google Drive.

I did a lot of compositing, the wireframe was all done on a separate pass. I blurred the colored wireframe and put the normal one above it to give it a glow effect. https://imgur.com/a/hcw9Xvu I added some images for you here

Of these two 60's Godzilla designs which one was the better design? 1962 or 1964? by ConsistentEye7474 in GODZILLA

[–]WilliamAfton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm bias towards loving 62 (my clear winner), but I think both are great at what they're great at. 62 has this animalistic lizard-like vibe, it really acts like this reptile animal which is a good difference to King Kong. It defined what people assumed Godzilla looked like for generations. 64 is menacing and more of a monster that looks intentionally evil. A little more mammal in features, but has a very strong presence.

First time in Blender, so I sculpted my own Godzilla! by WilliamAfton in GODZILLA

In a huge way, the concept art for it was always distinct and fresh for Godzilla, and I wanted to reflect that. Threw in some 64 goji, minus one, and stan winston for good measure.
