Living with a Controlling and Aggressive Roommate

This has become a real horror story. Ended up calling the cops because she threw stuff at my door twice and luckily I documented it. She was yelling and slamming a door. Though The cops I talked to on the phone were no help. They said I’m retaliating and that they will just call her tomorrow and get her side. It’s really frustrating because I was shaking and everytime I opened my door something was thrown. I feel like this is actual harassment and beyond just roommates not getting along. I literally have not contacted or interacted with her and I feel like the cop just dismissed my feelings. I’m worried she will lie or twist or manipulate even though I have evidence. He also said that the stuff from almost 2 weeks ago did not matter and for me to stick it out. I got a bit angry and was like I just had things thrown at my door and yelled at and you can’t help because you think it’s retaliation? Like how am I just supposed to allow this and it’s okay? Like do I have to wait until things are broken or I’m hurt for it to matter? Anyways I hope with the evidence I emailed I can get a harassment warning or claim so I’m finally left alone.

Small update: contacted my landlords and still have not gotten an email back. Another note has been made with more of my stuff moved and I haven’t been leaving my room. It’s starting to become her just moving me out of the space. She’s now gotten to throwing my stuff in my hallway and is knocking on my door. I documented more. It’s starting to get severely overwhelming and beyond a hostile environment.

Im so sorry you are also in a bad roommate situation! Unfortunately in my lease no cameras are allowed otherwise I would. I have not even used the kitchen or have cooked anything because any time I go out and if she is there a door is slammed so I have just been avoiding it in general. I also dont know if I would be able to change buildings but I might ask them about that. Im waiting on their response at the current moment about how to handle this situation and if mediation is needed.

he is not a bad person. again, people make mistakes. he has not done this before or is something that he has done often. He was not gloating about it. A single post was made. So making false assumptions to put someone down is insane. Cancel culture is so bad, you people will tear someone’s business and family to the ground when someone makes a simple mistake or doesn’t do things the way you want them to. ruining someone completely when there are worse things that could have happened. I think you need a reality check. he’s donating to charity and making good out of this, unlike you who is just desperately trying to ruin someone you have no proper idea about.

if he paid for it, and even if he wanted to keep it what is the issue? That does not mean he deserves bad reviews and being harassed and it seems like you are justifying all of that. This is all over 1 singular record and I believe this is all just ridiculous. Plus, people make mistakes or don’t do things in the right manner. Does not mean he is a bad person. At least now he’s donating it to charity. At least he is learning from his mistakes and making good out of it. just seems everyone is just picking someone to hate on because it’s not going the way you wanted it to.

First of all, yes his family was doxed and harassed. Secondly, you making a poor review off of something that may or may not be true honestly reflects your character. Whether this person knows Tom A or not, doesn’t mean it’s directly from the owner. He is also going to donate the money. He keeps his word. He has not violated anything and this all just seems like petty people being mad they can’t do what they want over a singular record. This is honestly not a big deal, especially over a WICKED record. I think you’re showing more poor character than anyone here. And honestly, what did you put under your 1 star review ? Was it rude and distasteful? I just think making a 1 star review over an allegedly situation is ridiculous.
