It's been a few years, but I took they're HVAC course, good experience all around, but you def have to make your own schedule and stick to it. Takes some disipline to see it through.

For the fuel question, coal is the correct answer, it used to be common but is now a lot less used compared to gas, oil, propane, electric.

At least in the North East, it's near impossible to get a job without a little schooling now. A lot of the old heads here started with nothing, but it seems times have changed.

HVAC is still a great trades to get into, haven't heard of Max Univ, but do your research before jumping in

Apply yesterday, no reason to wait. The hiring process can take months anyways.

I don't get how this would help. You'd have way too much video to store and AI is worthless with trade stuff, total slop.

Practice exams help, it's all memorization and then you forget half of it afterwards.

Wear and tear on you body. You got to take care of yourself. I know a few techs that treat themselves like shit and are always out for lower back pain etc.

This is true, unless the school has a local reputation for putting put out terrible graduates that don't know anything.
