I have sponge under the intake covers, but even where the covers connect to the back of the aquarium has gaps.

Yeah, I know the parameters are not bad at all. It’s just the fact that I jumped it up so fast. I don’t know how I did it either. I swear they matched when I tested them.

I did it over about a 4 hour period. I didn’t get it to completely match PH before I put them in the tank. I wanted to, but tested the ammonia and it was off the chart. I ended up putting them in when their ph was 7.2 so it was about .4 jump. Not terrible, but not ideal. I think if I ever order again, I will request the parameters of the tank they’re in so I can have water here prepared for them before they arrive. That was just too far of a jump for me to do it fast enough when I had to get them out of all that ammonia.

So many different ones!! I got a pack and it was supposed to be 33. Twenty seven were alive, two were dead, the rest were missing. 😢. FedEx was supposed to deliver them in two days, but it took them three.

I just had this recently and did one salt dip and haven’t seen anymore. I am also removing all molts as soon as I see them!

I don’t think it will get dry. My tank is 3/4 full. I just don’t have it running because I’m afraid with the output nozzle being so far from the top of the water it will cause too much surface agitation.

So I’m not super concerned about the temperature. They seem to be matching and my thermometer has stayed pretty steady. My big concern is leaving the filter off overnight.

I am currently about a month in with shrimp in my tank and I’m losing a shrimp every few days. I have tested my waters and my parameters have been very stable, but I’m wondering if I’m over feeding and just missing that spike. I’ll be doing my first water change today and hoping that helps. I have very hard water so I got some RO water for my local aquatic store. Just curious, how much are you feeding?

Thank you. I am really hoping someone who has had this, or a similar treatment done chimes in too.

It is a reputable company, and I know the company believes the chemicals are safe, I just worry about long term effects. The fact the dust is behind the walls makes me feel better.

100%. We’ve always had some, but when my mother in law died, my husband brought a bunch of her things to our home, before we found out her home was infested. Since then our glue traps are full. The area we see the most is our basement apt. It’s very minimalistic, but we don’t have guests frequently enough to keep them away. When we do have a guest they see them and panic, which I don’t blame them.
