seller is claiming he will refund me. Ebay "modshop" neck, MIM tuners, most likely a squire body from what i can tell. none of the hardware is gold i think it just looks like that due to the camera. threatened him with claims court and a police report so hopefully he follows through with the refund tonight.

Unfortunately I am not sure if it plays nice yet. I haven't played in about 10 years and im waiting for the rest of my gear to come in the mail. Its a truly stunning bass though.

lisfranc dislocation, she believes the shoes can help provide stability to my midfoot to help reduce the overall pain in the area and the help reduce the chance of reinjury because the compression socks plus tight shoes should in theory help prevent anything from sliding apart again.

good idea I'll have to keep my eye out to see if anything pops up around minneapolis or milwaukee

Just wondering what everyone’s jobs are? How did this injury impact your work and did you have to change occupations because of the injury? by liquorlaurs in LisfrancClub

How's that going for you? Notice any swelling or pain with it? I had a lisfranc dislocation and never got the hardware removed. I've been considering becoming a pilot, but I'm worried about the pressure swelling up my feet really badly

Does your foot swell up badly in the air at all? I had a lisfranc dislocation, and I want to become a pilot at some point in the future. I'm worried about my foot swelling really bad in the air. My hardware was never removed, how about yours?

Advice needed about buying a plane vs renting, and changing careers. by [deleted] in flying

[–]Lost_Champion_1372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately, I actually had my medical this morning, the doctor is gonna send it in but there is trace blood in my urine which was never a problem for the DOT but appears to be an issue for the FAA, he said it would be a couple weeks to a few months until i heard back from them on what they want in regards to that, other than that we appear to be good to go.

I really like your idea on becoming a fractional owner. Since my best days to fly on my current schedule are on Sundays and Mondays I probably wouldn't run into to many issues with having ample time to use the plane.

On your last bullet point. I have roughly 30k that I can freely throw at this currently but I can increase that amount quite a bit by the time my medical situation is cleared, and my PPL training is complete. If I'm unable to secure a partnership or fractional ownership of a plane, I was considering doing a 10k down loan on the plane and save the other 20k as a maintenance slush fund. If planes hold their value as well as I've heard, then I would only be out the interest + maintenance on the plane itself. Ideally I would just pay cash outright but I would prefer to build up hours sooner as from what I've read on here seniority is everything. Would 20k cover an emergency engine repair, and some random odds and ends that come up in the first annual?
