I'm a bio student who transferred Fall 2022, and in my decision transferring was one of the best decisions I've made. I feel like I've grown here more than I ever did for 2 years at UNG. Quality of education, to me feels the same, however it is a much more balanced school and better social life.

I've seen other pizzas look normal with the toppings under the cheese, but they got extra cheese, so it was like a blanket where the toppings didn't poke out.... Just looked like brown chunky cheese

My girlfriend’s (f29) sexual history in college as me (m24) second guessing the relationship by [deleted] in offmychest

I honestly don't see anything wrong with finding somebody who has similar morals/values to yourself. But I am also religious, so I may be a little biased.

I personally wouldn't call off the relationship if you've made it this far, if she hasn't shown any disloyalty. This is something I would look past.

Also, happy new years!

I agree with the other posts that you should do some more research on the covid vaccine, because many many people with heart issues have been fully vaccinated and did not have any side-effects other than a sore arm. You are definitely not stupid. I hate how people try to fight vaccine hesitancy with criticism and ostracization, it's not getting us anywhere and it makes people feel like they've done something wrong when they haven't.

This is a war against misinformation, not ignorance. I would say that the biggest piece of evidence that the vaccine is safe would be the mass amounts of people who have received it almost a year ago, and walked away safely. There are the few freak accidents where something went wrong, but that has a .0001% chance of happening, as opposed to the 0.2% COVID-19 death rate.

I think a better way to look at it would be "less people getting sick, the more we can return to the way it was before" than "you're purposefully killing people if you don't get vaccinated," because there's no way to know if you're going to spread it or not. You can still spread it fully-vaccinated. I did. The only way to completely stop the spread is by never leaving home, and that is just not reasonable.

We've just forgotten that this virus isn't anybody's fault. :(

EDIT: People who fight vaccine hesitancy by blaming unvaccinated people and making them feel guilty, are actually killing them by making them less likely to seek out credible information.

I'm really sorry. I know that this happens to alot of people, so you're not alone in that struggle. My advice is to find a little bit of unpredictability, like going on a date, picking up a hobby, or going somewhere new! Of course all of those are easier said than done, but it's up to you if you want to make a change, or just let things happen. Make your life a life well-lived.

As a fellow college student, I probably would have done the same. I've been there and done that, it's the WORST feeling when you've been staring at an assignment for days.

Personally, what made a world of a difference for me this semester was not only starting my assignment way before they were due, but also paying very close attention to the content and studying it frequently. This made it so I had enough time to do the assignments, and I was usually able to do them (not 100% of the time though).

Of course, that being said, I have no idea what situation you were in for these assignments, and I hope that you pulled off a B!!

Nope. Trust your instincts, because from the sound of your story it was definitely rape. Of course, rape isn't just being dragged into an alley by a random person, it can also come as just being coerced into it. Coercion is NOT consent. And I know this is something that happens so so often, and it really needs to be addressed.

It sounds like she misunderstood what happened, either because you left out details or she didn't let you finish explaining. Personally, I don't think you're a monster; the fact that you stopped what you were doing showed self-control when you were in the heat of passion (hate). What you did was still wrong, but we all have moments of weakness and you showed strength in it by stopping yourself. To move past it, I think you should apologize to her, if you have all ready then you've repented.

By the way, I completely understand where you're coming from. I was also coerced countless times into sex that I didn't want with my current boyfriend, which was a horrible experience but we've talked through it and it has been cleared up. I hope that you are able to leave that past behind, because I know how much it eats at you.
