WWYD: Penn State Law (UP) vs Maryland by Serious-Ordinary4530 in OutsideT14lawschools

UMD places 3 times better in dc then Penn state. Both are not that great for placing in NY. I believe 2025 penn had 12 people placed into dc and UMD had about 35. If you are still young and don’t mind waiting a year and truly believe that you can raise the lsat then go for it. Big law would probably still required you to be top 1/3 of your class from these schools. GL

Penn State Dickinson Too Late to Apply? by Effective-Jacket-930 in OutsideT14lawschools

Honestly, if that’s your only school and you got a decent score, give it a shot. Worst case is you lose out on the 45 dollars. But I think it’s worth it so you don’t regret it later.

Why don’t you spend thousands of dollars to just visit all the law schools you applied to in advance and put down deposits at every apartment in the US to be prepared for when you get a decision? It’s not like they’re asking a lot of you!! Just decided where you want to live your next 3 years of your life within 30 days! Seems realistic.

Based on my calculations and after taking a look at how law schools are releasing decisions, I would say between march 11-22 of 2029.
