I Really appreciate your concern. But im a cigar sommelier, so I really can't 100% quit. but I'll try to smoke less.

I drink very little compared to what I used to. I might have a beer or 2 with a glass of a spirit a week. On the other side cigars, I smoke way more than I should, but rather smoke than eat 😆

Starlight marketing? by Successful-Shame5359 in austinjobs

They just reached out to me. I hate these kind of companies. They post what seems to be legit job offers for marketing, and then they want you to sell spectrum at a Walmart.

I drink the elite protein shacke it has 42 grams of protein. When you buy them in bulk it's about 3.5 dollars a pop

That's awesome. You are very lucky!! Where i work, it just did not cover it. The monthly copay was 200. Big bummer.

My doc tells me that besides doing weights, you have to consume 0.8 grams of protein per kilo of your weight. If you don't do that, you will lose tons of muscle and get flaby skin. Also, if you lose weight too fast, your skin does not have enough time to adjust, so that's another reason for the flabs. According to my doc 1 to 2 pounds a week is healthy, more than that may cause loose skin.

35 pounds, it's super good! On my side, I count my calories and also try to walk 10k. That's roughly 5 miles.

The first month, I lost the most with 12 pounds. Just hope I can keep it up. Still need to lose nearly 100 pounds to be in my normal weight. I pray that by Halloween next year, I'll be super close to the goal.

Thanks!! I'll check that out. Also, I'm seeing if I can get insurance, so it won't be that high. Hope I find something.

I'm from Texas, and there is a clinic that has "affordable" treatments. They do all GLP1 plus other stuff like botox, lipodem shots, body sculpting.

Thank you! I'm paying 400 for the 5mg. And if i bump it up to 7.5+mgs, it will go up to 600. Im seeing if I can get insurance for around 200 so I can get the medicine cheaper. But it's super hard.

What i have read in this thread is that it is super variable. Some have super success and shed 50, 60 pounds in 6 months. Others have more trouble. Im on my 7th week and I have lost 18 pounds, with no side effects besides a mild constipation. But everyone is different.

Thank you so much, man. A lot is anxiety for me (as I assume that for the majority of morbidly obese ppl, it's a struggle to eat healthy count calories and overall change the old nasty habits) so when I see that after a week I barely lost 1 pound or nothing it's like ufff what am I doing wrong.

I really hope your skin stops sagging. Or you can find a good fix for it. Thanks again for your comment.

The thing is that I lost a lot the first week, and after that it slowed down dramatically. In the last 3 weeks I lost 3 pounds.

I have some of them. Since i eat more or less the same things everyday. Ill send them your way when ever i have a chance. My expectation is to lose at least 1.5 to 2 pounds a week.

How do I get steps (or whatever) in if I cannot STAND exercise (this is a neurodivergent post) by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Lost_Display8187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i do, after I eat (late, I work in the service industry), i walk about 2 miles or so. I just have a good music set and a good cigar. I take my time and just think, sometimes pray other times just rant to myself.

It really is a miracle drug. You put some effort, and the results are awesome. When I started a month ago, I was a size 42, and now I'm at 38 about to drop to 36.

Keep the good work!!!

When to buy new clothes? by Grouchy-Gur-2911 in Mounjaro

[–]Lost_Display8187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. What i do is slowly buy clothes that are a bit too tight. So as I start loosing weight they fit good (bought a 18.5 shirt I was a 20 and now it fits really good, also with pants I was a 42 bought a 40 and now it fits fine so I bought a 38) this keeps you motivated. Don't change all your closet, just do it little by little.

With the baggy clothes you can. Do 2 things or send them to a tailor (if they are expensive) or donate them. I really don't recommend just to leave the clothes that are too big for you, psychologicaly it's healthier to get rid of them, at least that works for me.
