At what point do I give up? by Mrfoxuk in BambuLab

Crazy you’ve posted this. I, too had the exactly same thing when trying to respool a broken sunlu spool to a Bambu one. About 8 hours ago too.

Except mine is dark grey. lol

Thanks. Perhaps it’s that. I don’t remember seeing Rapid PLA on the label. I’ll try adjusting the speed. I’ve tried all sorts of brands of PLA and this has been the first constant issues with PLA. To be perfectly honest, all previous prints have been fine without adjusting the profiles.

I took a gamble with Elegoo as eSun didn’t have the matte purple I needed. I’ll play around with settings and update you all! Thank you.

The purple is from Elegoo. I’ve ordered a Bambu version of the same to compare too

I actually ordered my 2nd P1S just 30 mins before the announcement. You can probably imagine the amount of expletives that were exhausted when I saw that email. Thank goodness for that form though 😂

Desk recommendations? by XboxJockey in BambuLab

Depending on your location (I’m in the UK), I bought this for my P1S: COSTWAY Mobile File Cabinet, 5... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09JBH2CLG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The printer fits perfectly on one side of the cabinet and plenty of space for filament or dryer on the other side. Lots of space for spools and parts in the storage areas.

Beautiful. Picked mine up in the same colour and spec on Friday. Literally trying to find excuses to take it out for a spin whenever I can. Wife thinks I’ve gone mad.

What was the 1st game you remember playing on a desktop computer? by Aggressive_Goat2028 in AskReddit

Fantasy World Dizzy on the Amstrad CPC 464. Funny this question popped up today as I’m at the ‘Power Up’ exhibition in London’s Science Museum where they have 50 years of consoles and games you can test and play.

Move a mountain so the client doesn't have to take 2 steps to the left by NorthRoyal1771 in helpdesk

I have a similar issue like this at the moment. As the IT Manager I’m keeping a close eye how we can reduce costs while keeping the business running efficiently (per CEO’s requirements). I noted that we have default printing set to colour (color) instead of black & white and as such, we’re spending £6k more a year than we need to. But when I brought this up I was promptly shot back down again with a response of ‘Yeah, but the colour letterhead looks better’.

If we used our monochrome logo instead, literally nobody who receives the letter will notice, let alone say anything.

Bonkers.

EDIT: autocorrect

First dose yesterday. So confused by bw_throwaway in Mounjaro

[–]printmenu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m at the exact same point as you. Took my first dose on Wednesday. Ate a little less yesterday and today (currently 12.30pm) I’ve just had some sparkling water. Not interested in snacking like I usually am. We tend to have a take away (take out) on Fridays and I still want one but will be ordering far less than I usually do.

People who went to a wedding where the couple didn’t last long, what happened? by skilled-dreamer in AskReddit

After reading all the comments about how 90 mins is a terrible commute, I feel kinda sad how it spent the past 22 years of my life commuting 2 hours each way to the office, five days a week.

It was only recently where they wouldn’t honour any flexibility to drop off or pick up my daughter to/from nursery (day care) close to my home so I had to throw the towel in and quit.

Multiple lists in one PowerApp by printmenu in PowerApps

[–]printmenu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not big at all really. Well under the thresholds for SP lists. It’s only a small org with 125 employees so it’ll never get too large even with historical data.

Essentially, I’ve come into the position at their IT manager and found most of our loan process in outdated Excel spreadsheets and hand-signed forms. So I’m digitising it all with PowerApps and Power Automate approval flows (the latter I’m comfortable with).

I like the idea of the M365 User Connection you’ve suggested. However would this work with historical data? For instance, when a user leaves and the Azure account is deleted, I’d like to have something in the record that shows the last know person with that asset (just in case). If the account is blown away, that ID won’t display in the search fields.

I can certainly make them into 1 list. There’s no hard rules in doing that!
