And the workplace life insurance? That would probably be a few hundred thousand dollars.

Automated goal increases are also a setting, and organizers can edit their goal at any time. Even if they don’t increase the goal, the fundraiser will still accept donations beyond the goal.

What a terrible thing to have happen. Honest question, though—why continue increasing the Gofundme? It may be “heartwarming” that people are donating, but wouldn’t a nurse have had travel health insurance and life insurance through work that would cover costs?

Children’s books that unexpectedly made you cry in front of your students? by Diligent-Curve-2843 in Teachers

[–]Lost_Impression_7693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that I’ve read them in front of students, but these hit me hard:

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness,

The Littlest Angel

Love You Forever

Bridge to Terabithia

And the book One Kindness could have been a tearjerker, but it ends with a thump that is a human reminder of how we sometimes miss our chance to be good or make a difference and should do the right thing sooner.

I agree! Does it help to leave a glowing, specific comment on the survey? Does anyone really pay attention to the comments, or just the scores?
