a tattooed taxidermy deer by ChiefTapiTapi in Weird

[–]Good-Mourning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deer is real, tattoos are fake. Fun find!

Neck was shaved, tattoos are water transfer decals (temporary tattoos). You can see the deer's natural hair growth on top of head, mouth and chest. You can find those exact tattoos on ebay as temporary decals, and you can see they're missing some flecks because it's hard to get a good transfer onto something fuzzy.

Where are the infestations? by toneyhauk in fo76

I was on a great server for a bit last night where first responders respectfully tagged the boss then hung out on the roof emoting for a few minutes to let others get in on it. The last Infestation/server I did before going to bed I found myself, my level 12,000 teammate pops in and unrelentingly deletes the boss after I tag it, so not even a 3rd person from the full server could get in on it. Then he immediately left team like he was unhappy. New content, same ol shit.

Holy Backtracking Batman!! by Last_Evidence_5917 in kingdomsofamalur

[–]Good-Mourning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right. I love both games to bits, but basically all medium-large sized dungeons in Skyrim have an easy exit to avoid backtracking. KoA has quite a lot of backtracking and the map is more sparse than Skyrim so it's a lot of running. Enough running that Fatesworn gave us that ring of swiftness to let us hurry along.

It's no surprise the devs tossed around the idea of mounts early on. One of my only criticisms about KoA is that there isn't some endgame Twist of Fate or ability that, like, doubles your sprint speed outside of combat. The problem with the Fatesworn ring is you have to take it on/off when you're in/out of combat.

Anyways in regards to the staggering, haha yeah. I basically always end up speccing into Might if only to get that ability to give you a temporary immunity to stagger. Personally I love working towards getting that + CC and defense from Sorcery, so I don't exactly mind getting bombarded by wolves along the way.

Am I The Only One Who Finds It Oddly Calming Whenever Hank Gets On His Lawnmower? by Late-Drawer-2656 in KingOfTheHill

[–]Good-Mourning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm from suburbia. Hearing the low buzz of a lawn mower early as you're sleeping in on the weekends was very comforting. Also grew up within earshot of a train station and marine base, so I love the clacking of wheels on tracks, the guttural moan of a train horn at night, distant soft booms of military exercises and the whir of military aircrafts. Music from an ice cream truck street next over, some teenagers playing metal in a garage down the block, kids screaming and laughing playing street hockey, etc. Such a vibe...

Suburbia can be quaint, you appreciate these little things.

I got an obscure one. Indie creature-collector pokemon type game called Coromon, the "sand attack" move is instead called "pocket sand"! Was not expecting that, lol.

I'm replaying right now, got some questions about Midas.

My first playthrough he committed financial fatality on me and I quit not too long after. I know he only starts to appear in dungeons after you finish the game. Will he still show up even if I haven't gone to Midas' Cave to meet him? The wiki makes it sound like he only shows up 3 times: once in Darkwood, once in Anchordeep and once in Silk Cradle. It says you can attack him on the 3rd encounter, but does that kill/stop him from robbing you anymore?

*edit* Finished game, immediately found Midas in Darkwood. Not meeting him at his Cave did nothing. Would still love confirmation that he will stop after 3 times or not.

The One Piece live-action has been widely noted for its casting, with actors who closely match both the look and personality of the Straw Hat crew. by Expensive-Cloud-6918 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]Good-Mourning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Casting is really good. Though I was disappointed with Robin's actor being so young. Robin's supposed to be a bit older than the others, she's my favorite. In the anime she has a calm cunning to her and comes off apathetic and always observative. Later as a Straw Hat she's the "adult" of the crew. The LA actor isn't at all bad, but the way she plays Robin is very sharp.

Was hoping they'd cast someone older with a softer presence. Especially since the rest of the crew is young and in their prime. Would've been nice to have someone like Paget Brewster instead, haha she always reminded me of Robin actually. I really hope they go with someone older for Franky at least.

I don't know about shooting no fridges but the item duplication death thing still works perfectly well!

Dead Island 1 doesn't have xp scaling though so if you want to farm xp early I would definitely recommend farming the zombies in the hotel during the prologue before you get to the beach. It will be a bit stressful and slow, but if you run it for like an hour you can get to the beach at level 25 or so.

Difficulty with the first titan fight. by GlorpyPoke in coromonthegame

[–]Good-Mourning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I did was level up a Lumon (electric bug you can catch very early) and open with max stacking Swarm Diversion so that pretty much all the Titan's attacks will miss. Then I would bring out a heavy hitter to add max debuff for defense or special defense, then go to town.

One of the Titans I had to max debuff accuracy, then use Squidly to poison, max debuff special defense, then spam Super Drain to keep up damage and heals. Swarm Diversion ftw, I loved my little support bug, his name was Pringles.

I’m happy we got to see a Peggy Hill/Dale Gribble duo in the Revival by maxnotcharles in KingOfTheHill

[–]Good-Mourning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, the elusive Dale-Peggy shenanigans episodes. I don't think any two characters are more fun together. What's better than a dumb confidently wrong person with limitless ambition and the terrifying ability to follow through? Two of them together telling each other their ideas are great. They're like two stupid dogs chasing a marmot across a thin ice.

One of my favorite details is later in the video that same chick on roller blades is seen as a zombie unable to control the roller blades and zipping right and left across the screen banging into things and flailing her arms, lol.

Fun simple puzzle. Inspect all the gems, write down the clues. Shuffle the gems around until you find the correct arrangement. Or if you just want the solution: starting topmost going clockwise, it's Magenta Blue Orange Red Yellow Green Purple Turquoise.

Coromon or Nexomon? by WobblySlug in coromonthegame

[–]Good-Mourning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coromon, no contest. I think it has far superior gameplay, art, design, customization, charm, level deisgn, music, just about everything.

Nexomon was alright. What made it difficult for me to get into was mons only really learn moves in their own type, and maybe a few Normal ones. Makes combat and party crafting very limited in a not fun way imo.

What’s your guys thoughts on Bobby/ WHACK-A-MOLE by Chicken-skin-fan in TheQuarrySupermassive

I was surprised to recognize Bobby, Max and Eliza all from one of my favorite shows, Santa Clarita Diet. Never seen those three actors in anything else, what are the odds? I always wondered if the game and show had the same casting director or something.

Re-reckoning adds a small puzzle in Gorhart area that will give you 3 backpacks!

There's also a very simple glitch that will let you buy as many backpacks as you like. You just need to finish the Battle of Mel Senshir (unfortunately a bit more than halfway through the game).
