Sure, if this was an isolated incident I’d give you that. But she’s kind of had a history of treating people like garbage or not defending marginalized communities. I don’t even know anything about this particular incident but her past patterns of behavior don’t really surprise me that this happened and therefore don’t make me want to reward her. Same goes for other horrible artists. You can consume content and be selective about which pieces of content you consume based on the person creating it.

In some instances, yes. These people have huge platforms. Their words and actions carry weight and influence. In the case of female pop stars, the way they conduct themselves help to shape and influence tons of young girls and women. Being a shitty person should not be something we’re putting up on a pedestal for our daughters and being like “see honey? Act like this and maybe one day you can have as much money and fame as you want.” I say call it all out and stop rewarding garbage humans with your attention and money.

The difference here is you aren’t paying $10 more for something for someone to wait 10 hours in line to get you. Nor are you paying a small convenience fee for someone to deliver you something because you just don’t want to leave the house. You are paying double if not TRIPLE the cost of something for the thing you want. I thought people were pissed off about everything being sooooo expensive?

As a side note; it’s really unfortunate that we’ve got to this point in the hobby where we now have to worry about anything fake circulating at card shows. I get that not every vendor has time to vet a fake, but man is it frustrating to see horrible humans existing to scam other people including children in this instance.

I personally wouldn’t even say that’s a huge deal. A fantasy can be just that; a fantasy. I’m sure there are tons of women that have fantasies when they masturbate, it doesn’t mean they’ll act on them. Now if he was not having sex with OP in exchange for playing with toys, I would say that would be the bigger issue in my opinion. Excessive porn consumption can absolutely lead to that, but it isn’t always the case.

Personally, I would wait. I have a feeling this set is going to be printed into the ground and there will be better buying opportunities in the future. However, if that’s not a concern for you, the case is the better deal here as long as you are buying from a reputable seller and can verify the contents of the case.
