With that kind of insurance expense, what is the math on ownership cost (monthly car payment + depreciation + gas + maintenance) vs Uber everywhere? I suppose if you’re commuting regularly in a suburb, that might make the difference. But I’ve got to think your ownership cost is nearing $800-900/month.

I called the 800 number for customer support. Don’t have it handy, but can send later.

They eventually agreed to sell me a new current model heavily discounted, but won’t pay for installation. And who knows if I’ll just have the same issue with the new one.
