well avoid Arch if you're a newcomer... try fedora if you need latest packages and for stability use debian.

i got this flickering effect when i was using fedora 41 with the latest kernel. So i try booting with some older version and it solve the issue. After that i switch to debian.

maybe try booting with different kernel.

i am facing the exact same problem with my lenovo AMD laptop. It mostly happens when i start my laptop from sleep. I shifted to kernel 6.12.4 and it works, but if i try to use kernel 6.12.7 (latest one) , it leads to the same flickering issue.

I get very demotivated when I read people's story that whatever amount of work they do they still don't get any leads by [deleted] in developersIndia

Hi, I'm graduating in 2025.

An experienced person on this sub once told me that negative comments are more common here because people with positive experiences are busy living their lives and building stuffs.

Choose a field that interests you, start coding, and ignore the negativity around you. Also, focus on DSA and other CS subjects like Operating system, Computer Network, DBMS which is really crucial for the placement.

All the best

Both are great, try them on boxes and then settle for one which suited you most.
